New Vice President of Institutional Advancement – Scott Lerwick!

Author: Boise Bible College
Published on: February 18, 2022

Welcoming a new team member – Scott Lerwick!

When David Davolt, current Vice President of Institutional Advancement, announced his retirement to the Cabinet, we immediately began praying for God’s guidance and provision. God has provided indeed! We are pleased to announce the hiring of Scott Lerwick. He will become the new Vice Present of Institutional Advancement at the end of the 2021 – 2022 school year when David Davolt retires.

Scott is a Northwest native having grown up in Gresham, Oregon. After high school, Scott attended Ozark Christian College to receive his bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature. He went on to earn his Master of Arts in Christian Leadership from Hope International University

Furthermore, his experience is extensive. He comes to Boise Bible College with over twenty years of vocational church ministry. For the last four years, he has been at Thurston Christian Church in Springfield, OR as the Lead Pastor. In addition to serving churches in Oregon, he has served churches in Idaho, New Hampshire, and Oklahoma.

He and his wife, Joy, have been married for almost 18 years and have four children ranging from 9 to 15 years old. Whether it’s hiking, backpacking, or playing games, they enjoy spending time together. Scott recently relocated to Boise, and his family plans to join him at the end of April.

Scott is excited for the opportunity to network with churches and donors all over the Pacific Northwest, casting the vision of what Boise Bible is doing and inviting them to partner with us as we equip servant leaders who build up the church to advance the gospel worldwide. He believes that the hope of the world is the church; that is, the church is making a kingdom impact, and thus being a part of the process to equip leaders for the church is worth every effort!

We are grateful to have him join the team and looking forward to seeing how God uses him! He is excited to meet the alumni and friends of Boise Bible College! Schedule a time to meet him. He would love to get to know you and see how we can partner together for the Kingdom.
