Welcoming another team member – Roy Meyer!
This June we welcomed another new team member – Roy Meyer! Roy joined both the Admissions Department and Student Services Department.
Roy graduated high school from Burley, ID in 2004 and came to Boise Bible as a non-traditional student in 2014. He graduated Boise Bible in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry (Preaching) with a passion for intercultural work. He married his wife Mary during snowmageddon in January 2017 and has two children, Edward and Temperance.
After working in customer service for 13 years, and then graduating from Boise Bible, he took an associate minister position at New Beginnings Christian Church. He oversaw the children’s, youth, and family ministries at NBCC. Now, he will be working to guide students through the application and recruitment as well as offer support for current students as a “campus pastor” at Boise Bible College.
He is passionate about his family, apologetics, Biblical linguistics, and evangelism. Generally, can find him disc golfing, boxing, or playing video/board games with friends outside of work.
I’m excited to serve at the institution that God used to prepare me for ministry. I fell in love with the community at Boise Bible during my time as a student. The staff and faculty were instrumental in my growth in the Lord. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve alongside them as we seek to partner with the Church – locally, nationally, and internationally to bring glory to God!
We couldn’t be more excited for Roy to join the family. Welcome!
