On June 1, we welcomed Steven Marshall to our team as Director of Finance and Administration!
Steven is experienced in business practices, financing strategies, change management, building teams, and is passionate about serving people. Steven grew up in Zimbabwe as the son of Dale and Linda Marshall, Boise Bible alumni. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management and MBA in International Marketing from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon.
Currently, he volunteers his experience as a business mentor through the SCORE organization and a board member of a local non-profit, Create Common Good. He is also a member of the Eagle Christian Church’s Men’s Leadership team, which has a mission of helping every man reach his God-given potential in every relationship. It is his passion for individual spiritual development and kingdom advancement initiated a coffee conversation with President Voorhees. Steven immediately connected with the mission of Boise Bible College.
The general discussion about Boise Bible over coffee led to further discussions about options and opportunities. After a meeting with the cabinet, it was clear that Steven had some expertise that Boise Bible College could benefit from like understanding of organizational life cycles and rhythms, creative financing, and business networking. His servant-heart and leadership will be a blessing for the college in many ways!
We are excited and looking forward to having Steven as part of our team as Director of Finance and Administration! For additional information about Steven, view his LinkedIn Profile here.
About Boise Bible College
Since Boise Bible College was founded, its purpose has been to train young men and women to be servant leaders who will invest in building up the Church so that the gospel can be advanced worldwide.
Boise Bible has a target in mind: a vibrant Church that produces a Kingdom return. Alongside the academic track, this is accomplished by helping students to develop a character like Christ, leadership skills like Christ, all within a Christ-centered environment that will propel students to no longer live for themselves, but for Jesus. To that goal, we value excellent scholarship, authentic humility, uplifting community, and creative innovation.
